The Saab 95 was the first car from Trollhätten to truly expand on the Saab formula. It arrived a decade after the first production Saab, the 92, but its roots in the

In addition to Saab, Sason designed consumer products for Electrolux (most notably the Z 70 vacuum cleaner in 1957), Hasselblad (where he designed their first camera model in 1949), Husqvarna (designing such motorcycles as the Silverpilen), and Monark (where he designed the scooter Monarscoot.) Sixten Sason's hands made a similar decision in the Ursaab and the body neatly enveloped the front and rear wheels of the Saab 92001. This was very convenient when using the car in winter, as the spats would keep snow from accumulating on the wheels, thus reducing the danger of losing grip on the road. Though the Sonett generated only 57.5 hp, its light weight and exceptional aerodynamics gave it a top speed of 120 mph.
